free domain but charged first?

  If the domain is included with the Explorer plan, then why do I have to go through a checkout/paument?

  Because you get the domain for free but you still have to pay for the Plan itself.

  @yishii2026 In addition to what @staartmees mentioned, it’s important to note that the domain is free for the first year of your plan. However, after that initial period, regular domain renewal charges will apply, in addition to the plan renewal.
