free domain mapping

  does the mapping of domains always cost money?
  I´m trying to connect the pages, I already own (berlin-live.tv and berlin-live.com) to my wordpress page (berlinlive15minutes), but I don´t neccessarily need to “map” it in the way, that it has its own url-name (which I know, costs 13 dollars), but I want to connect the already existing pages to be linked to the wordpress page, cause it´s easier to edit, than a regular html-site.

  Hi there!

  Through WordPress.com, to connect a domain name to your WordPress.com site requires the Domain Mapping upgrade.

  However, it’s possible your domain registrar allows your domain to be setup as a Redirect so that berlin-live.tv would automatically redirect to berlinlive15minutes.wordpress.com. It’s likely this would be a paid upgrade from them as well, but that pricing would be all up to them. :)
