Free Domain Name

  I am trying to create a free WordPress.com website but no matter the name I choose it says the account can’t be setup. What kind of name do I have to select to get a free one? I tried roadtripper then bobsworld but neither work.

  Hi there,

  As long as you choose the “WordPress.com” site address during the site creation process, you will be able to keep it a free site. Screenshot here:

  

  If that address is not to your liking you can change it at a later date, but for the purposes of creating the initial site as long as you stick to the address we assign instead of a custom address the site will be free.
