(free) Domain not available after deletion
-
Hey there.
I wanted to start this free blog (now on my account) and wanted to have the domain lostinvasion.wordpress.com. I registered it but made a mistake, I just changed my previous blog’s domain (now deleted) to lostinvasion.wordpress.com
Even now a couple of months later, the domain is still not available for me to change into again, even though it says that it’s been deleted.
I’ve read this support article about when the domains expire, but is it the same for free domains? Will I be able to get the domain again?
Thanks for your help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

https://lostinvasion.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
