Free domain with upgrade?

  Hi there, would like to know if the free domain with upgrade plans is for the 1st year only? Is there a renewal fee after the 1st year on top of the regular pricing plan?

  Hi Connie,

  There’s no additional fee after the first year. As long as you have an active plan you’ll have a domain.

  Hi Connie,

  As @fstat mentioned, a domain is included in the cost of your plan — for as long as your plan is active.

  If you wanted to purchase any additional domains, then you would need to add them to the cost of your plan.

  Please excuse me for barging in. Are you clear on the fact that if you do not renew the upgrade annually, and the domain was purchased through WordPress.COM, the domain URL will expire?

  @timethief Yes I’m aware that I need to renew whichever plan I have annually in order for the custom domain to be active. Let me know if I’m missing something here… Thanks!
