free downloads to new email subscribers

  1. What do I need to be able to offer free downloads like reports or ebooks, when a new email subscriber signs up.?

  2. Is there a way I can do that with WordPress.com?

  2 not automatically. You’d have to have WP email you ever time a new subscriber signs up and then you can email them the downloads or whatever manually.

  Thanks for the info, raincoaster. That sounds workable until I work up to WordPress.org.
