Free for first year?

    How does it work? At first I was told it’s free for first year but then I saw I HAVE to make payment.

    Hi there,

    If you choose an example.wordpress.com domain and the free plan, it is indeed free.

    If you choose a plan (ie.: Personal, Premium), the cost of the domain is free for the first year. The cost you see is probably the cost of the plan you chose.

    You can always click for the free options when you are going through the registration.
