  Hi there,

  The only “hit counter” on WordPress.com is our own stats widget:

  https://wordpress.com/support/widgets/blog-stats-widget/

  Any other hit counter would use iframe or JavaScript code to embed, and we don’t allow those types of code on WordPress.com except on our Business Plan, so there aren’t any other options that will work here that we can recommend.

  I already got more than 98.000 views. How can I add them to a new widget?

  Thanks a lot. I still couldn’t find the part about setting counter to a certain number. Apparently I have to start from zero? 🤔Please, correct me if I am wrong.

  Hi there,

  You cannot set the counter to a specific number. The Blog Stats widget displays your real-time views.

  If you want a static number you can use the Text widget:
