Free plan upgrade

My blog is ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff).’. all was working fine uploading photos, but in the last two days I haven’t been able to upload photos as it says I haven’t enough space. I know the WiFi is good, so my question is.
Is there a limit to how many images/space we can have on the free account?
Does the next upgrade up give me more space?
Or do I need to get premium?
I am currently in Thailand and it is giving me the monthly prices in BAHT. Are you able to let me know £ monthly prices?
I only plan to keep the blog going for another 8months. Can I cancel the monthly plan whenever?

Regarding the “cancellation” question, you can cancel the plan whenever you want. However, if you would like a refund, you can apply for this only in the first 30 days as it’s written here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/
After those 30 days, there’s no refund that can happen, even if you payed for 1 year.

Just adding an information, I believe staff members are able to change the currency on your account, so I have added the modlook tag here so they can check it out and see if they are able to change it to GBP so you can see the prices in pounds :)

Free sites comes with 3gb of media storage. This is taken up by images added to the blog. Your text, posts, pages, do not count towards it.
That said, you have used up the free storage on the blog. My suggestion is to upgrade your account to the personal plan. This will get you more storage space and you’ll also be able to register a custom domain as part of that plan. If you need help getting that set up we can certainly help you sort it out. Check out the other features of the plan at wordpress.com/pricing/
Once you’ve added that to your account you’ll be able to upload images again to your blog.
Another bit of advice is to make sure you’re optimizing the image sizes. Take a look at these tips: https://en.support.wordpress.com/media/image-optimization/ and https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/troubleshooting-images/.
The pricing you see on the /pricing/ page is due to your geographical location. The personal plan is £30 / year. If you like, I can update your account to be in Euros. Let me know.
