Free Plugins
-
Hi,
I wish to pay for your service to convert to .com
But before that, I have something to clarify
Is your email subscriber plugin free of charge?
How many subscribers can it fit?
Where can I take a look at its pricing features?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good Morning – Plugins are a feature only supported by self hosted sites using WordPress.org. You can’t use any Plugins on your WordPress.com site.
The differences in WordPress.com and WordPress.org are outlined here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Hi,
You mean that WordPress.com doesn’t have email subscribers service?
I am planning to use WordPress.com for blogging and I need this email subscription service for my readers. I’m not sure if it’s free. Please advise

WordPress.com users will be able to follow your blog by clicking on the ‘follow…’ link in the bottom right corner of their screen. Then, whenever you publish a new post, it will appear in their Reader.
Install The Follow Blog Widget into your sidebar or footer (depending on your theme). This will allow people without a WordPress.com user account to follow your blog via their email. When you publish a new post, they would be notified via email.
You may invite followers by email, if you have that information. Here is the guide to walk you through step by step: https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
RSS Feeds are another way that people can follow your blog. More information on that is available to you here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/

I forgot to add, all of the above information is available to you as a FREE WordPress.com user.

Great.
Last thing to clarify.
Because currently I’m using getresponse.com for email subscribers. Possible to import all of them by excel?
Also,
WordPress.com followers can be unlimited?

Hi Alextan, I’m not sure if getresponse.com can export all your subscriber in Excel. but if you have all your subscribers email addressees you can add them to your users as followers, you can paste your subscribers Email addresses 10 at a time, follow the link that lizkarkoski send.
Here is the guide to walk you through step by step: https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
Your post from your WordPress blog will be sent to your Email followers’s inbox. So no need for a newsletter the post is the information you want to share.
Hope this was helpful.

Hi, thanks for your response. You misunderstood my meaning.
I was saying if it’s possible for WordPress.com to import my contacts through excel file, as I have hundreds of them. Get response can export into excel. But whether WordPress can import the contacts in excel?
Secondly, if I have hundreds of followers’ emails in WordPress.com, can I export them out into excel file? Does WordPress have this function?
If I have hundreds of followers for my WordPress.com, I know that they will get notified by emails automatically if I published posts. But other than this feature, can I send them other newsletters as communication in bulk? Just like getresponse.com whereby I can send my subscribers newsletters in bulk.
Hope you can understand my queries.
Thanks -
Hi again.
I understand now what you want and sadly WordPress.com cant do that, and it doesn’t have a mass mail marketing solution for newsletters like getresponse.com.
On a self-hosted WordPress site there might be solutions like the MailChimp plugin that could help you. But for now post following and post to email is the WordPress.com way.
In the meanwhile I will see if I can find anything more helpfull -
