free site and ftp access

  Hello community – is cPanel available for a free site? if not, how can I create ftp access credentials if I’m not using a 3rd party hosting site? I am an experienced programmer and have used wordpress a few years back. Appreciate any assistance.

  The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  WordPress.com is a managed hosted service where you can get a free WordPress site with options for paid upgrades, while WordPress.org is the open source software that you can download and install on your own web hosting account.

  There are a lot of things you can do on WordPress.com without having FTP access:

  If you’re on the Business or eCommerce plan, you may be eligible for SFTP access.
