free squeeze pages and landing pages

I am trying to build a squeeze or landing page for my wordpress. I understand there are many 3rd party companies that sell templates, however, I am just looking for the program or plugin need to make a simple one from scratch. Im sure WordPress offers something to this effect

There is no FTP access to our blogs and we bloggers can’t install third party theme or plugins. Only those with wordpress.org installs can use third party themes and plugins. Please read this comparison for clarity. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

On free hosted wordpress.COM blogs we can only use the themes which have been coded to run on this multi-user software and made available to us here. > Appearance > Themes and no others. We cannot edit either themes or templates on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/
There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes this. If you wish to have complete control over a blog, the ability to upload themes and plugins, and to edit themes and templates then your option is to hire a web host and get a free software install from WordPress.ORG and self host it.

I saw a plugin called Optimize for WordPress that would allow one to put up an email squeeze page on a wordpress site….I even visited one with “powered by Optimize WordPress” at the bottom of the page. There are youtube videos as well.
I was kind of confused by your answer, but in other words, what I am trying to say is, is there is no way for an internet marketer to draw emails , phone numbers, etc. before he or she allows access to thier blog?

Short version: To have an internet marketing blog you need to hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.org install.
Long version: There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds http://www.wordads.co/ no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts, internet marketing and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. Paid content and/or sponsored content is not allowed.

If you want a squeeze page, you want to pay for hosting and get software from WordPress.ORG.
