Free Template – making changes to it

  Can’t change image on template (free), do I need to upgrade for this?

  Also, where do I find the facebook button to add to the blog? (please bear with me I’ve only just joined and have no idea how to put it altogether) :)

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that allows you to edit templates or themes on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. The annually renewable custom design upgrades allows you to use CSS editing to change fonts and appearance but not the way any theme functions. No third party themes can be installed. The only themes that you can use, with or without the CSS upgrade are found here > Appearance > Themes
