Free Test blog. I was told I could practice my blog set up skills while waiting for my domain name to be switched over to bluehost. So I would like to practice and learn to save time and have gotten to the page want ing $18 and all I want is a temporary blog site to practice on and was lead to believe wordpress would let you do that but am at a page that will not let me go any further unless I pay $18 Looking for some help at (email visible only to moderators and staff)

Do not click any purchase upgrades links. Ignore that aggressive and annoying advertising and simply proceed, knowing you already have a free blog and domain mapping uopgrade is not required to blog here.

The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of your blog appeared because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
