Free Theme allowing different headers
-
Can anyone suggest a free Theme which will let me have different headers on different pages. I need to merge three or more websites into one, and this would provide a solution.
Currently using Hemingway and the 20 series before that. Something along those lines would be good.
Thanks
Tom

It sounds like a theme that uses a Featured Image Header might be what you’re looking for:

Feel free to choose one that suits your ideas the best.

Thanks – but that looks like it is putting the features header into posts.
I’m not concerned about posts.
I want to be able to have different headers on different pages. Half the website with one header, half with another.
If that’s too hard, can anyone suggest a free Theme where the menu is right at the top of the page, so I can just put an image below it – and put different images at the top of the page – ish, that way?
Thanks

Hi there,
You can set a featured image for each individual page as well, not just for posts.
A featured image represents the contents, mood, or theme of a post or page. Posts and pages can have a single featured image, which many themes and tools can use to enhance the presentation of your site.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Darnell – that’s solved my problem perfectly! For some reason I thought that feature was just about showing a thumbnail on people’s menu bars. All the best – Tom
