Hi there,
The reason the site is not secure is because you’re using masking. The way in which you are pointing your domain to us means we have no control over your domain whatsoever, so it’s not possible to apply our SSL certificate to your domain.
If you want your site to work correctly, including SSL, you need to use domain mapping, as explained here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
I see you’ve already added a mapping upgrade to your site. You’ll also need to cancel the forwarding and masking that you set up with GoDaddy, and instead change the domain’s name servers to point to us, as explained at the link I just gave.

Thank you, your explanation really helped clear things up for me. I had been chatting with a couple of Happiness Engineers and although I was a little slow understanding we got it all straightened out and the site just recently has come up secure! Yeah!
