  I am wanting to start a blog, but I would like to get a 30 day free trial so I can check it out before committing. Is this possible?

  Hi there, sorry to disappoint but there are no free trials of upgrade plans here on WordPressdotcom. All upgrade plans come with a 30-day refund window from date of purchase, the only exception being registration of a custom domain, which must be cancelled within 48-hours to qualify for a refund. See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

  However, you can start and use a free site for free forever. Upgrades simply add more features. You can learn about those here: https://wordpress.com/plans/challengedhikers.wordpress.com
