Free up sleeping blog URL’s

  Hi there,

  I very much would want a certain blog title/login/URL, but the ones I would like are in use. Basically they are sleeping very tight, ’cause some of them only have the initial welcome posts and that dates from 2005! Apparently they are not being used.

  Is there a policy of free such names? I am interested!

  The policy here is to not resuse blog names – see here http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/recycling-blog-names/

  The only thing you could possibly do is contact the blog author and see if they would be willing to transfer the name to you.
