Free users should get the following option as default

    i kind of find it strange that you cannot set your blog to offline mode while working on building it.
    wordpress.org software allows plug ins to do this but with it being a 3rd party plugin i thought wordpress.com
    would have this essential feature built into anyone’s blog but it seems not.

    dont you think this feature should be an essential as people might not want the world to see a site
    before it’s fully completed if people see a under construction site and it looks awful while its being designed
    then the whole site is going to lose popularity

    can the admins look into this issue, or add the plugin as default this is a great concern of mine. thanks.

    you could set your blog to private and then only you would be able to access it…
