Free vs. Premium

With ‘premium,’ how tech savvy do I need to be? Can I readily begin setting up posts as with the ‘free’ version or is there installation involved? If installation is involved, how much support is offered with that? Thanks so much!

The best thing about WordPress.com is the ease of the user interface when customizing your site. Like anything, there is a small learning curve, but you’ll have no problems once you jump in. You can always ask questions here in the support section, but if you move up to the Premium Plan or above, you’ll have access to instant support online. This is super helpful if you get hung up on editing or customizing your site.
There is also no installation involved; you just login to your WordPress.com site from your computer or mobile device and get to work!

There are no installations involved. Just like free sites, after you upgrade to a paid plan, additional features are instantly available to you. You will need to do some customizations on your site depending on the theme you use, though.
