  Hi

  Just purchased a domain with wordpress. Usually, when purchase a domain with other provider I would be able to connect that domain with wordpress and build my website for free, installing all plugins like elementor etc..
  With wordpress I cant install any plugins or do anything else I would normally be able to do.
  Am I something missing here? Is there something I don’t understand.
  Can you help me please.

  You find all info on our plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/. You are confusing the selfhosted open source wordpress.org software with our wordpress.com dedicated hosting platform.

  If you want to install third party plugins and themes on the wordpress.com platform, you must upgrade tot he Creator Plan.
