  Hi. So I already own a domain through GoDaddy, and I wanted to build a website, but I see that only packages are available. Since it is going to be a business website, and we are not going operational until 2021, I was wondering if there was a free section to simply practice my website building skills (which are none at the moment), and that’s why I need time to familiarize myself with wordpress without losing any money. Is it possible?

  If you want to host the site here with us on WordPress.com, you can create it on our free plan with one of the free WordPress.com subdomains we offer.

  In order to connect your GoDaddy domain to the site you’ll need one of our paid plans, but if you don’t need to use the domain right away, you can hold off on that until you’re ready.
