Free website performing very slowly – unresponsive pages

  Hi. I have a free WordPress site. The Customizer, in particular, is so slow as to be almost unusable. Clicking on a menu option/link e.g. ‘Widgets’ can take well over a minute to load! Any advice or suggestions very much appreciated. Thanks.

  Hi. I’ve just tried Customizer in Firefox and it performs/responds as expected. This is a Chrome issue! I’ll try Googling that. Thanks for your response.
