Free Word Press author site

    I have my Word Press profile ‘@sharilynnwilcox,’ but I want to set up a free author site. I choose FREE option and was given ‘shariwilcoxauthor40588240.com’ and I began the process on a blank site setup. Maybe I should have chosen a template? I tried to add my profile picture, but it took up the whole page. I wrote an ‘about me’ blurb, but it looked like it was going to be a blog post. OPPS! I also tried to add a photo my desktop photos. Clearly, I need help. Is there a way to view what I have created before submitting?
