Free WordPress Account Can't Connect to Self-Hosted WordPress for Jetpack

  I have both a free and self-hosted account for WordPress and I am trying to use Jetpack. When I click connect to Jetpack it just refreshes the page and says there was an error. I’ve read all of the FAQ’s and no one has answered my question on the forums so hopefully you can help me out. I am hosting through Bluehost.

  Which version of WordPress and Jetpack do you have? Please make sure you are running the latest WordPress and Jetpack version. You might also want to try to disable your other plugins to see which one is conflicting with Jetpack.
