Free wordpress site upgrade to Premium Plan?

  Is it easy to transfer a free wordpress site I have already created to a premium plan or do I have to start over from scratch?

  It’s reasonably easy. Your existing content isn’t disturbed. A Premium plan just gives you more features such as access to extra themes, custom CSS and a custom domain address.

  So I have set up a free site and want to change to a Premium plan. I also already have 2 domain names I already have payed for through GoDaddy that I want to use for the site. Is there anything special I need to do to do that when swithching over to the Premium plan?

  Hi there,

  Just go to My Site ->Plans, and buy the plan. All that will do is enable the extra features on your existing site – nothing needs to be moved.

  To add your domains, after upgrading to the plan, go to My Site ->Manage ->Domains, and click on Add. Select the option to use a domain you already own, select domain mapping, and specify the domain you want to add. Repeat for the other domain. There is no additional cost for connecting your domains.

  On Godaddy’s end you’ll then need to point the domains to us to complete the process. You can find detailed instructions on what to do here:
