  I will absolutely not recommend any free web hosts.

  You get what you pay for. You pay nothing and what you get is overloaded servers, crap for server up time, slow loading sites, and technical support done by a collection of tree stumps.

  WordPress.COM is the only free wordpress hosting service I would recommend (as long as you can live with the limitations).

  I’m with thesacredpath. I would not consider using a free web host for a WordPress.org install as I’ve heard too many tales of woe to consider it. I recommend only high quality paid web hosting because you get what you pay for.

  Actually you get a lot more than you pay for with the free WordPress.com hosting service and while there are limitations, with a little very easy to learn free HTML coding you can enhance many WordPress themes to your liking, including excellent help from expert volunteers like thesacredpath and timethief who also helped me get started with my totally free website for which I am most grateful. So I believe you have already found the best free web hosting service on the planet with WordPress.com. Good luck and good blogging.
