Freeing my domain

I recently bought the premium package, bust shortly after I cancelled it. The problem is that the domain “maternidadecriativa.com.br” was attached to that, and I am trying to use it for hosting through another host. I will be using wordpress.org, in an outside host. They are having trouble transferring the domain maternidadecriativa.com.br, it keeps showing as a deleted wordpress.com blog (i deleted it to try to free the domain). Please help. I would still like to use the domain, since I registered it elsewhere and brought it to wordpress.com, I would just like to move it somewhere else now.

That domain points to Host Gator for me – try clearing your browser cache and forcing a page reload
you were not able to transfer the registration to WordPress.COM – they don’t accept incoming registration transfers
Once you change the name servers from WordPress.com – WordPress.com has no further effect on your domain name – deleting the blog here was wasted effort
