  How to I save all my posts into some sort of Word document?

  Is it possible to freeze or unpublish a blog without actually deleting it?

  Sure, you can set your blog to be private here:

  https://joelkurz.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-privacy.php

  Then you can’t just leave it, we won’t do anything with it and you don’t have to either, but it’ll be ready and waiting when you come back.
