Frequent server not found interruption
-
I’ve been encountering the exact same problem as below.

Usually the symptom is fixed after an hour or so. But before that, I cannot even ping my blog server(xxxx.wordpress.com), even though “http://wordpress.com” is accessible. It’s not related to the browser cache.
Please help me to solve the problem.

What’s your geographical location? Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

I’m connecting from Japan(Provider: Yahoo BB).
This problem is not reproducible and I don’t think it is a browser problem, but here is the answer. I used Google Chrome and encountered this several times. When I posted an article with IE a short while ago, there was no problem.

Do you have any better luck if you check or uncheck “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages” at Users -> Personal Settings in your Dashboard?

I’ve just tried and this time there was no problem. I’ll see how it goes with this setting. Thanks.

It might be your ISP or connection in Japan, especially if it’s inconsistent.
Do you have another place that you could check from, like a friend’s house, café, etc? Preferable with a different ISP.
