fresh and clean theme slider edit.
-
I was wondering if there’s any way of editing the CSS of the slider so that the numbers bit in the top right is less blocky, and if there is a way to be more like the dots on the http://drownedinsound.com homepage (the slider there)
I was also wondering if there’s any way for posts to be featured both on the slider and the main homepage/blog part of the site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your blog is a private blog, so none of us can look at your code to help you out, unfortunately.
You could set your blog to public temporarily in order to get some help with the CSS, or you could continue to search the forums to see if anyone else had a similar question. I think yours is pretty specific, though, so setting your blog to public temporarily might be the best option.
Good luck,

This has been mostly resolved. I.e. the look and style of the slider
However, still looking for posts to be on the slider and main page if possible.
Blog temporarily public

I like what you’ve done with the slider look/feel. Very nice.
That’s really all anyone would need to have your blog be public for – so if you want to re-set it to private, you’re probably safe to do so.
My guess is that if the blog works like other blogs, you can feature a “sticky” post in the slider, and then it “disappears” from your homepage.I suspect it’s because there’s JavaScript at work that hooks the blog post title/summary/image and pulls it into the slider and it won’t hook the same post twice on one page. If this is the case, I don’t believe you can have them shown twice.
Sorry to not be more helpful,

Correct, except it’s PHP code (not JavaScript) that drives the behavior in this case. The theme is designed to avoid duplicates like you’ve described.
