Fresh & Clean Author By-Line Slider

Hi there,
With my blog expanding in writers as well as content, I was wandering whether the following two features are in development for the Fresh & Clean theme:
Author by-line: I have read around the forum that there is no author by-line for the theme but was wandering if staff/tech folks could code it in so its a feature thats available? I rather not change themes and have to re-do some of the artwork I have on there.
Slider: Fresh & Clean has a featured image on the front page. I was wandering if there is a way to make this an automatic slider, to hold more than 1 post but not require to push buttons to navigate. Something like this http://oxygendemo.wordpress.com/ except of course, to work with the theme.
These are features I just was looking for and was wandering if they are in development. The Author by-line is a must otherwise it will be a really pain when my various authors want to save their articles in pdf format when they want to showcase their work.

This is an issue for Themes Staff and it’s the reason I stoped using the Fresh and Clean theme. I have flagged this thread so it will be moved to the Themes Forum for their response.

I did indeed see that post. I find it weird that this would be a WPExplorer theme with no author by-line. Unless it got removed when they were coding it for wordpress.com? Also, the original theme did come with an automatic slider called a nivo slider. Its built as an add-on to the theme.
Hope the staff can help get me these two features as it would be totally awesome to have.
Out of curiosity; can people request themes to be added to the line up? There are some that would be invaluable additions to the theme showcase.

Thank you for that! I really hope the above features can be achieved. Otherwise I will be spending alot of time again with photoshop…

I sincerely doubt that Staff will edit the templates of themes where the designer did not include author bylines and include them in the adapted wordpress.com theme versions, but I do have my fingers crossed for you.

thank you! I really hope it works out. Mine’s a growing site so I rather not move from the wordpress.com platform. Unless that becomes a final resort…
I assume that the movement of stats is still something that isn’t available right?

I always take the path of least resistance. :) I changed themes to one that does display author bylines and author profiles as well. -
I wouldn’t fuss with it if it wasn’t required. Currently I run the space by myself and adapting to a new theme, getting all the images to work with that theme’s specs, is a painful process.
It be great if I could just leave everything the way it is haha.
