Fresh & Clean Slider Not Working

I have followed all the steps in every forum, but I can’t FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out how to get a slider on my home page! Any assistance would be much appreciated, as I’ve spent a good part of the day trying to figure this out.

Fresh and Clean can display an optional featured slider on the front page that highlights your Sticky Posts that have a Featured Image at least 840 pixels wide. Follow these quick steps to add a post to the featured slider:
Create a new post (or edit an existing one), and be sure to mark the post as Sticky. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
Add a Featured Image to the post you created in Step 1. The image must be at least 840 pixels wide, or else the post won’t appear in the slider.
Optional: Create an Excerpt for your post, http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/ which will appear in the slider along with the post’s title and Featured Image. If you skip this step, WordPress will automatically generate an Excerpt for you.
Save the post, and view your site to ensure that it is appearing inside the slider! -

Thank you so much for your response. It still doesn’t work, as those are the steps I’ve followed a hundred times. I would be happy to give someone my login information… :)

I’ve tried one thousand times to get the slider feature to work with the fresh and clean template. Nothing! Can someone please shed some light on why this is so difficult. I’ve followed all the steps. Thank you.

Posts and Pages are not the same http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
You only have only published one post as far as I can tell so how could you possibly have another post in the featured post slider?

As timethief observed, you only have one sticky post published at the moment. To activate the slider you’ll need at least two sticky posts, each with featured images at the minimum size of 840 pixels wide.
