  how can i set up my blog for the new school year with a new class and delete the old information?

  If you want to start fresh with your blog, you can follow the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  Please take note that emptying your site will permanently delete your content so be sure you won’t need the information later.
