Fresh Start needed please

  Ok somehow I am unable to get the first page to reset. I have deleted all the other information, but cannot reset ‘The Journey begins…’ Can you help me reset please?

  hello Liz – thank you for responding.

  I am doing my best to figure out this set up through word press. I am trying to set up a “static page” so that my blog and other pages can follow from a sidebar menu. I watched a video presentation from a gentleman who is advocating for word press through the author learning center. He made it look so easy, but it’s apparent I just didn’t understand the full scope of what he was doing. He was a wiz at setting up a page and had it running in less than an hour.

  Alright, no problem.

  Let’s start with pages. To access all the pages that are on your site you’ll click on My Sites – Pages.

  From here you’ll be able to see the active pages, as well as any that have been put in the trash or are saved in draft mode.

  Direct link: https://wordpress.com/pages/reneemweldon.wordpress.com

  There are 2 options for the front page on your site (or blog). It can be a static page. A common example might be an “about” page with some details about the blog or site. With this option you’d assign any blog publications to occur on an additional page.

  If you chose to not use a static page, then the blog posts will publish on the front page by default. This is your classic, “blog” set up.
