Freshly Pressed
-
We used to show up in freshly pressed under health tag and the past few days have not – why is that? We have posted new health topics.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

From the support document on Freshly Pressed (my emphasis):
Each weekday, we hand-pick and promote approximately ten new blog posts to the Freshly Pressed section…
Sometimes you get hand-picked, sometimes you don’t.
-
They are picking from among 25 million blogs, by the way. If I thought for one moment they were picking the same blogs over and over for Freshly Pressed, I would make it a personal mission to make that editor’s life a living hell, even though I like her personally. And by god, I can do it, too.
Do you mean Global Tag Pages perhaps?

@hightechnologyscribs
I think your are actually trying to determine why your posts are not appearing on the global tag pages. This is the block of categories on your latest post:
Posted in health, Health Care, Hospitals, infectious disease, medical, MRSA | Tagged bacteria, cooper, cooper door handles, doctors offices, germs, health, hospitals, infectious disease, medical, medical offices, spreading of germs |Please see here for your answer > global tags > missing posts
1. You are using too many categories or tags. -

At least I have a hot tub. I think I’ll go use it: I’ve been awake for 30 hours straight. Time to crash.
-
Wow! I’m in almost the same sad shape 22 hrs for me and ready to crash tonight for sure.

It’s been one of those days for EVERYONE. Today I worked with three editors, and they were all much more snappish and fried than they normally are.
But now I’m overtired and time to sleep, but can’t. Why is the rum always gone?

Snappish… I think that is on the menu at the Verandah Lounge. I’ll look when I go down there shortly.

However you choose, thank you for choosing us today!! Its amazing to see 2000 hits on a blog that usually gets 75-100

If you have another post ready to publish especially a related post to the one that was featured then publish it now. If you don’t have one create one now. Why? Because having a post Freshly Pressed results in a flow of traffic that bounces in and out on the same link. The vast and overwhelming number of those who click in will not become subscribers or commenters. They will never return again so publish something related to what brought them in the first place before they are all history. -
That is seriously good advice. When my blog goes viral for whatever reason, I jam a post up as quickly as I can get something good, and I find that keeps about 10% of the new readers.
