  Not understanding how this works. Do you have to use freshly pressed as you are writing your post or can you do it after you have published it?

  YOU don’t get to use it. It’s just a group of blog posts selected by one editor as particularly feature-able. To get on Freshly Pressed, simply impress her as better than any of the other WP.com blogs that day.
