Freshly Pressed not updated

Does anyone know why Freshly Pressed has not been updated since last Thrusday? Or is it possible it has been updated, but it’s not showing up for me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but we Volunteers don’t have answers for you. We no information re: Staff and their activities and Freshly Pressed, etc. in addition to what every other member here has.

I’ve tried on a PC -Firefox and Explorer and on a Mac to check it was something my end not updating but still the same. The current FP bloggers are getting a good deal from their 15 mins of fame ;-)

I’ve been wondering the same thing. It’s gone on long enough that it can’t just be my internet service. It’s great for the blogs who have remained on the Freshly Pressed page for an entire week, but hey, it’s no longer fresh.
My theory is that WordPress has been evaculated for security reasons, and it’s staffers moved to a secure location. They left Chuck the security guy, and Buffy the security dog, in charge. Buffy is working as fast as she can, but she can’t read fast enough to pick nine new FP blogs. This must be true, because hey, if WP staffers were still there, they would have posted some kind of announcement about it.

I just noticed on the Support page this short message, “Support is closed while the company meets up and works together for the next week. We will be back on October 29th.”
Maybe this is the reason for no FreshlyPressed updates.

Must be – makes more sense than my explanation, but it would have been nice to see it posted as a big announcement on the FP page, if that is the reason.
