Freshly Pressed Notifications

Another blogger told me one (or more) of my posts have been Freshly Pressed but that Freshly Pressed no longer sends out notifications, and that, supposedly, is why I didn’t know. I think he’s pulling my leg. Is there any quick way to find out if I’ve been Freshly Pressed, other than by scrolling through hundreds of pages of Freshly Pressed posts in my reader? If I was, in fact, Freshly Pressed, I certainly would like to add that award badge to my home page.

Hi there,
We do still send e-mail notifications to Freshly Pressed bloggers, as well as adding the option to add a “Freshly Pressed” widget to your sidebar once your post has been featured. You would also most likely notice a big jump in visitors to your site. So those things didn’t happen, I’m afraid the other blogger was most likely teasing.
