Tags don't list my site as having been published at the correct time?

I just published a new post (8am EST). I couldn’t find my listing in the tag for Humor, so I checked some of my other tags… I found my post listes under Aging as “14 hours ago”. With a popular tag like Humor… that means that I am way down on the list and no one will find me under tags. This is going to hurt my traffic, especially as I am experimenting with publishing times to get the best effect. My post for today will be totally ineffective with tags.

I have also just seen on my site stats that this post is posted as YESTERDAY. How do I get this fixed.

Can you let me know where you’re seeing the listing that your article was posted 14 hours ago?
When I visit your Site Stats page, your most recent post, “Just Browsing,” is listed as having been posted today, August 31, 2011.

I posted it just before 800AM, but it came out as Aug 30 at 18:37. I checked out the support site and it showed me how to change the release date on the edit file, so I did that. That’s why you are seeing it as Aug 31. But my freshly pressed tag for humor (since there are a lot of posts tagged with Humor) was printed pages and pages back… so I lost the “freshly” part of freshly pressed.

I see that your most recent post, “Drive-Thru Confessions,” appears to have been posted at 7:54 AM, EST. Is that the correct time or did you manually change it?
Would you be able to publish a post as you normally would and notify us of it? We can then take a look at what happens when you try to view your post on the Global Tags page.
Additionally, to confirm, is this the URL you’re referring to when you look for posts tagged as “Humor”?
