  I want to put a freshly pressed badge on my blog, but don’t want to activate the sidebar – I like my photos BIG. Any suggestions?

  Are you referring to the badge that’s listed on http://en.wordpress.com/trophy-case ?

  Your photos are already pretty big. You might want to check out other themes that allow larger photos: http://themes.wordpress.com

  The pics are big because I don’t use the sidebar. The directions I received when I was notified about being Freshly Pressed said I had to put the badge in my sidebar. I don’t want to activate the sidebar. Will it not show up in the footer instead?

  Sure, you can go to https://egghill.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php and place the ‘Freshly Pressed’ widget in your Footer section.
