Freshy Links Page Problem
-
I created a new LINKS page using the Freshy LINKS Page template and have this as a result:
http://urbansemiotic.com/links/
Does the footer look wacky to you as if it’s in the sidebar?
Is there a way I can fix this on my own?
Thanks!
-
Yeah, the ” Blog at WordPress.com. • Theme: Freshy by Jide ” seems bit weird on the sidebars, i personally think it looks better on the footer.
-
Yes — I agree it should be on the footer but for some reason it doesn’t want to go there!
Hmph!
-
Actually, the whole page looks b0rked in IE6. The main content is off-set left and the footer DOES look weird. I suspect there’s not supposed to be the gap between the “blog@” and the smiley.

Okay then!
I’ll report this to Feedback.
Thanks for the confirmation on the ugliness I thought I was seeing!

Last link I see is the United Stage one and the footer is in the sidebar. This is in Netscape 7.2.
-
That’s what I see too, drmike. I have no idea why it’s loading like that. Feedback sent.

Is that something I can fix or is it a backend thang?
I just typed my own title for the page and added text but after I chose the LINKS template and then published, only the Links made it in public view and nothing I typed went live.
I pointed Feedback to this thread.

Unfortunately, it’s a backend thing. As you’ve reported feedback, it’s sit back and enjoy blogging until TPTB can fix it. :)
-
Probably backend.
I know the validator said it’s the page closing div that’s missing but looking at the source and how it’s laid out, I would say it’s the frame div that’s missing as I don’t see one indented to match the beginning one.

Hmm, strange. Freshy has a Page Template for Links and I don’t see the frame div in there.
-
I’m only seeing 8 errors, 1 being the missing div and the others are the javascripts at the end of the page instead of being in the head.
edit: The missing closing div should be in the footer.php. Stange that it works on the other pages though.
