Friend can't access blog to remove content, content hasn't been hidden.
-
Hey there,
There’s a blog which directly references me by name. It was written by a friend. I know the email on file for the account, and can also get her to directly contact whoever she needs to. She unfortunately no longer remembers the password but she wants the blog taken down. (or hidden, if account ownership cannot be established).
Whats the process for me getting the post hidden/removed. As I said, it directly references me by name and it is the first result on Google and may impact me negatively into the future.
Thanks,
NathanielNote: It’s not the blog specified.. (Why would you force people to specify a blog?)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Only the owner of the blog can change the content of comments, wordpress itself won’t change anything on a blog, or pass on ownership details.
There is no actual process that will force someone to change their content unless it relates to some sort of copyright issue. If your friend has the contact details of the blog owner why doesn’t she just ask them to change it?

I am the friend. I’m asking on her behalf as she wants to know the process.
She posted content about me in 2010. I now want it removed and she doesn’t remember her details and I’m asking the process she needs to take.

So are you telling me there is NO way that WordPress is able to remove this content at all?

If it is her blog she can go to the account recovery page and enter her details there to get assistance.
