Friends cannot open my blog.

I have set my blog as private, invited users who have accepted. They have the password but cant open the blog to see content.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Do those friends have their own WordPress.com accounts? One must have a WordPress.com account in order to read a protected blog. They should also click on the link in the invitation email while already logged in to their WordPress.com accounts, otherwise the system won’t register that they’d accepted the invitation.

Thank you for your reply. No my friends do not have their own Word Press.com account. Do I need to make it public for them to see it?

If you want your blog to remain private, your friends will need to create their own accounts. There’s no other way they’ll be able to see a private blog. I know it sounds like a lot of extra effort, but it’s the only way to ensure uninvited people can’t access the blog. You can tell your friends it is possible to create an account without creating a blog (just look for the link to do that on the signup screen), and you only need a username and email address to create an account, so they don’t need to worry about handing over a bunch of personal information. Once created, username accounts can’t be deleted, though.
You can also set your blog to public, but then anyone will be able to view it. There is no way to limit a public blog to only some people. You can password-protect individual posts, but you’ll have to do it for every single post you don’t want strangers to read. Anyone with the password will also be able to read posts, so if one of your friends, for example, gives someone else the password, that person will also be able to read it.
