Friends not able to "like" a post if they don't have an account with Word Press.
-
I have allot of people that view my posts from Facebook. The problem is they say they can’t comment or like a post in Word Press. They can only do this on my Facebook page. How can I fix this? I’d like to be able to show the many comments or likes in Word Press itself.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Everything looks correct for your settings to allow folks to comment on your post. For someone to Like your post on WordPress.com, they do need to be a logged-in WordPress.com user.
The comment form on, for example, http://spottedfeatherfarm.com/2013/09/20/youve-come-a-long-way-charlie/ appears to be working as well.
If folks are commenting directly within Facebook or liking the link on your timeline in Facebook, then those comments are likes are part of the Facebook ecosystem and not transferred to WordPress.com.

They are reading my posts from my FB link but unable to “like” the posts in WordPress or comment. There would be many more likes and comments if readers didn’t have to be a wordpress.com user.

While “Likes” are restricted to WordPress.com users who are signed-in, comments can be left by folks who are not signed in.
I checked your settings ( https://spottedfeatherfarm.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php ) and all folks are required to do is leave their name and e-mail address. If the e-mail address belongs to someone with a WordPress.com account, we do ask them to log in for verification.
I’ll pass along your suggestion of logged-out Likes to our Social team.
Thanks!
