Friend’s wordpress which has disappeared from google

  Friend account stevelaker.net also known as Delirium Tremens is not coming out on google when you search anymore and people who were friend with him look back on them as he passed away back in March 2020. Please help resolve and get it back so we can search his blogs again!

  Hi,

  It looks like registration for that domain name has expired. So your friend will either need to renew it, or remove it from their WordPress.com site in order for it to function properly.

  staff-ozmodiar did you miss this part?

  he passed away back in March 2020

  @iammeghann, as mentioned above, the domain has expired, so there’s nothing we can do.

  If your friend’s next of kin want to take over his account and renew the domain, or else remove it completely so the site reverts to the free address, they can do so by following the process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/deceased-user/

  But failing that, once the domain is completely removed, the site will revert to the original free WordPress.com address, stevelaker.wordpress.com, and will be re-indexed by search engines at that address. This will likely take several months, though.
