From Bluehost back to WordPress

  I need to move my wordpress account that is on Bluehost, back to a basic wordpress account. I know I need to repoint the DNS, but not sure what I point it to, or how I do that.

  If by back to a basic wordpress account you mean a free site here at WordPress.com then create a free site here and export/import your content on your other site to the new site here. If you wish to keep your current domain address however you’ll need a paid plan here rather than a free one.

  I had a free one with my domain. I switched it to Bluehost, but I understand it is still a wordpress account, just hosted through BlueHost? It must be a paid account because I have had my domain name on it long term. I just found wordpress much easier to navigate and a lot more affordable.

  What is the domain? The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here has never owned any sites or domains on WordPress.com.
