From Google – fix errors on my AMP pages
-
I’m not sure. I’d keep an eye out on it over the next several days, though. Many of these errors have cleared up over the last few weeks or so, so hopefully that is the case with the one you found as well. The error I reported to you has been a long standing error that Google doesn’t seem too eager to fix quickly. Again, I don’t think it will really affect your site, especially since you do not use Chrome. I’m using Chrome and everything seemed okay.

Many thanks for your help staff-doublebassd. My only concern is that what Google thinks are AMP errors might cause the site to slip down the list of search results. Otherwise, I am unbothered!

Ah, gotcha. Since you’re not the first person in the thread to express that concern, I’ll ask internally and see if that may be an issue. I’ll let you know!

Hi all,
I received an email from Google about “Fix errors on your AMP pages” earlier today. I’m not too sure what’s going on, but at present it seems only a couple of my sites are affected. They are:
AMP URL:
https://mabelkwong.com/2013/09/26/the-right-to-an-opinion-project-o/amp/
https://mabelkwong.com/2013/10/10/how-im-inspired-to-call-myself-asian-australian/amp/Canonical URL:

http://mabelkwong.com/2013/10/10/how-im-inspired-to-call-myself-asian-australian/Not sure what’s going on. Thanks for everyone’s input.

Both of those URLs came back with validation errors. We’ll keep you updated once we ourselves are updated on a fix. Thanks!

Same problem. It says
The attribute image.width has an invalid value.
which is 200.
What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

The website ruthgrindrodlandscapephotography.co.uk(ruthgrindrodlandscapephotography.wordpress.com) has also received “Fix errors on your AMP pages” email.

It seems to be because the link to an image on another site doesn’t specify height and width. -
