from private to draft

  Something I can’t find quickly anymore. How do I turn a private post back to draft?

  In the editor, on the right hand side, where its status is.

  The only two options I see is Public and Password protect. I don’t wish to choose either of them. I wish to convert a private post back to Draft.

  Publish module > Status > Edit.

  Public and Password protect (as well as Private) are under Visibility, not under Status.

  Under status, I see this: Status: Privately Published

  I see nothing to change anything. What am I missing?

  Oh I see! There should be an “Edit” next to the current status, but apparently the combination Private+Published eliminates it.

  Go to Posts > Edit > Quick Edit (shows up when you hover under the post title) and change the status from there.

  Sorry, I figured it out. I was looking at within the edit mode of the post. The draft option is in the list view of the Posts section. Thanks.
