From Reader email: Not all received when new post made

    I have selected a few “daily” email to come through when a subscriber creates a new post. Is there a time delay from the time a post is created before it reaches my email? I noticed at least two bloggers who made new posts but I did not discover it until I looked in my Reader. Why?

    Hi there,

    Yes, if you select “daily” as your delivery time, then you will only get a delivery of your messages from that blog once a day, all in one email. Similarly, if you choose weekly, you’ll get them all in a weekly digest.

    If you’d like to be notified via email as soon as possible that someone has posted a new article, then what you’d likely want to suggest is the “Instant” notification. Then our system will email you as quickly as possible that a new post is waiting for you!
